General Mills launches first products made in a peanut free facility

Granola Bars from Annie’s and Cascadian Farm help make snack time more convenient.

As back-to-school routines are in full swing, Annie’s and Cascadian Farm are helping make it easy for more kids — and adults — to enjoy their favorite on-the-go snack with granola bars that are made in a peanut free facility! These bars are the first products from General Mills to be made in a peanut free facility and open the doors for more people.

“At General Mills, we continue to innovate and develop products to best serve the needs of our consumers,” says Jason Resch, Business Unit Director, Natural & Organic at General Mills. “These Annie’s and Cascadian Farm granola bars made in a peanut free facility are no exception and will offer peace of mind for those who need it most."

About the Annie’s & Cascadian Farms PFF Bars

The Annie’s bars—Dipped Chocolate Chip Granola Bars and Dipped Caramel Granola Bars—are the same bars you know and love, now made in a peanut free facility. The bars are also USDA certified organic and made with 35% less sugar compared to the original Annie’s Dipped Granola Bars.
